mrjl.dev is a small personal links site run by Mahesh Rijal. I respect the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and keep data collection light, avoid ad-tech, and only use analytics to understand aggregate traffic and which links people find useful.

What background data is collected?

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. That gives me high-level usage information such as page views, top pages, referrers, rough geography, and basic device or browser breakdowns.

I use that information to understand whether the site is working, which links people open, and how often the site is visited. I do not use it for advertising, cross-site tracking, or personal profiling.

How do I use the data?

The purpose is simple: maintain the site, monitor traffic trends, and see what content is actually useful. I am not building mailing lists, data dossiers, or behavioral profiles from this site.

Cookies and personal data

I do not run advertising trackers or social media pixels on this site. The site itself does not have forms, accounts, or comment boxes, so I am not directly asking you for personal information here.

As with any hosted website, Cloudflare may process request-level technical data needed to serve pages securely and reliably. That can include standard information such as IP address, browser details, and request metadata.

Most of this site is a directory of links to other websites and profiles. If you click out to another service, that destination has its own privacy practices and terms. You should review those separately if they matter for your use.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS on Cloudflare Pages. That means traffic between your browser and the site is encrypted in transit. No system is perfect, but I keep the site intentionally simple and avoid unnecessary third-party scripts.
